I led the frontend development of an internal tool to automate client-facing PDF report generation for a sales team. Previously, this task consumed 1–2 weeks each month of manual work. By building a custom React app with automated charting and PDF generation, we reduced the process to just a few hours — freeing the team to focus on more valuable tasks.

In addition to UI development, I collaborated closely with our backend engineer to define API endpoints and integrate Prisma-based database queries, ensuring secure and efficient access to large, sensitive datasets.

🧩 Role & Contribution

• Designed and built a custom React tool to automate multi-page PDF report generation
• Collaborated with the backend engineer to define API contracts. He shared raw SQL queries due to the complex DB structure, which I then translated into Prisma code for implementation
• Integrated Chart.js to visualize data clearly and consistently
• Used Puppeteer to generate professional-quality, multi-page PDF reports automatically
• Conducted user interviews to map the manual reporting workflow and define data requirements
