🧠 Experimental Project(Personal Exploration)

A lightweight kickoff canvas for async or hybrid teams

🔍 Background

In remote or cross-functional teams, project kickoffs often lack clarity. Team members jump into execution without alignment on goals, roles, or assumptions—leading to delays, duplicated work, and unresolved tensions.

🎯 Reframing the Problem

This isn't just a communication issue—it’s a structural UX gap at the team level. Teams need a shared snapshot of “why / what / who / where we might get stuck” before committing to execution, especially when working asynchronously.

🧠 UX Insight / Observation

🧩 Information Structure / UX Design Approach

Created a simple visual canvas with 4 quick prompts to structure the conversation:

  1. Why are we doing this now?
  2. What are we trying to deliver (and not deliver)?
  3. Who owns what?
  4. Where are the likely blockers or unknowns?

Designed to be filled in collaboratively in 15–20 minutes or asynchronously via comments.

→ Promotes shared context without lengthy meetings.

🔄 Reflection

This experiment confirmed that even lightweight structure can unlock deep team clarity.
